Niara Fraser is a qualified attorney-at-law with substantial property and commercial law experience and a certified mediator. With a sound legal knowledge base, Niara Fraser has shown dedication and commitment and exhibits extraordinary organisational skills, which have been instrumental in the completion of complex financing transactions undertaken by the firm, thus gaining the respect and admiration of her peers. In addition, Ms. Fraser has worked with experienced commercial litigation counsel and has gained valuable courtroom experience which enhances the commercial practice of the firm.
Ms. Fraser joined Chancery Chambers in 2010. She received a Bachelor of Law Degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados and also completed the Legal Education Certification at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago, graduating on the Principal Honour's List and obtaining the award of the Pelham Sloane-Seale Memorial prize for the best performance in Conveyance and Registration of Title. She is a member of the Barbados Bar Association.
Ms. Fraser is a member of the Bar of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Bar of Barbados. She is also a member of the Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.
